Default Apexi AFC ????????

I just put a different d16 in my 94 ex. I know that every engine is different and it wont run the exact same as my last z6. what changes can i make to my controller and how do i do it. I dont want to pay for another wide band O2 tune. Id like to learn how to do it myself. If i learn then i can make my own changes between performance and economy.

i'de jus switch out the computer's the only way your goin to be able to do much tuning on a stock engine is with a standalone IE: hondata. or an afc, an afc wont do a whole lot becides pulling or adding fuel. and if you add too much fuel you can flood the engine or max out the injectors and cause premature failure.. causing it to go lean and boom.. not good. so IMO i'de jus swap out the stock computers

oh and it takes a lot of seat time and knowledge of how a honda computer works to be able to do any kinda tuning

is it just gonna be a stock motor with like intake/header/exhuast? if so you dont need to change one thing it will run just fine and be almost identical enough to not even notice a power difference. now if your turboed the tune will be close but you will have to slightly mess around with your a/f but you "will" need a wideband

unless youre boosting, you really dont need to mess with your a/f ratio.

what about vtec engagement points? is there any reason or possible performance gains changing that?

leave VTEC alone, Honda set it at its primetime, so leave it be.
