Hello everyone. I am trying to determine if the jdm b18c engine I purchased is correct. 1) is there a production date on the block. 2) i have found four round circles on the head just above the exhaust port. The numbers in these circles are 98 5 18 90. Is this May of 1998? To the right of these numbers is pr3-1 Hm. I have been told this is a b16 head. The engine was sold to me as '98 spec itr. Does anyone have a legit '98 jdm b18c itr engine to compare numbers? Hope to hear from one or many!! Thanks.

 

If you could post pictures of the Block...there should be identification of the block type in the front of the block right where the tranny would connect to it...
