Default Basic question... i think.

Hi, i have a bone stock 1990 honda civic hatch... the base model, its standard... anyways... i think i screwed my ecu while taking out my dash....(didnt unplug my battery when unhooking some stuff) my car ran before i had my dash out... everything is hooked up fine now, and my engines turning over but not sparking. is there anyway i can be sure... someone told me to turn it on and check the blinker for codes.... but it didnt blink at all when i turned my car to on. If i do need one... can i just get any ecu out of any 1990 civic/crx at a pic your part? i been looking through lots of forums... cant really find answers.. all i find is stuff about tuning ect. any help is appreciated.

did you ever take any grounds off your engine.. when i took the grounds off it kinda missed up too.. check all your grounds.. not enough ground will not let you start the car but it will turn.. how about the ground for your ecu.. check that.. did you do any engine work??? what did you do to try to fix it
