What year Civic?

Is the alternator belt tight? Are all of the alternator mounting and adjusting bracket bolts tight?

Are the battery terminals clean and tight?

What year Civic?

Measure voltage across the pos and neg battery posts under these three conditions when the engine is warm:

1) Engine off
2) Engine idling, nothing electrical on
3) Engine idling, high beams on, A/C on and blower set to Max
