Burn out ECU

Default Burn out ECU

I need a new one for my si. Where can i find one and how do i install it. I keep having to change distributors then i finally found out it was my ecu that was bad. I spent $2000 in total over 4 months period in distributors. Please help

Removal of the ECM seems pretty straightforward. The picture shows removal of 96-98 ECM -- the 99-00 ECM should be similar. Basically you remove the passenger kick panel, the ECM bolt, and the ECM connectors.

thanks for the reply. is it like a plug an play type of thing where i remove the old one and just put in the new one?

you want to make sure that there the same one. an auto for an auto, or a stick for a stick, same year, same model, etc.

get it on ebay, should cost 100$ or so.
