Default CEL on code P1164

HI everyone, my 96 honda civic Hx is throwing a single code P1164 and I was told by Advanced that its a "dealer" code. The guy also told me that it is a fuel/oxygen related deal. A week ago I replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor and the Oxygen sensor (that code is gone now). Was wondering if anyone could shine light on the issue? Thanks

Advance is right.the code for a lean air fuel sensor. Does the car run well? if not, unplug the front o2 sensor, if it runs better then you know it needs the front o2. They are a common failure.

The code indicates a problem with the primary O2 sensor, which you mention was already replaced. Clear the code from the ECU by removing the 7.5A BACKUP fuse under the hood for about a minute. If the CEL code does not repeat, then you are good to go.
