Default Need your help! CEL code 22 VTEC pressure switch

I have a b16 jdm first gen block with a '00 Si internals slapped on a '00 Si head. My CEL(check engine light) turns on when my car is on 4th gear @ 90mph or 5th gear @ 4500 rpm (VTEC engagement). I check for the code and I get code 22 which is the VTEC oil pressure switch. I went to a honda dealer and bought me a new switch. Reset my ecu and test it again... CEL came on again and still throwing out the same code. I figured it was the ECU, so I went to go switch out a ECU from a 97' GSR (P72 obd2 ecu). I would still get a CEL with same code. I rewired the VTEC switch ground wire directly to engine ground wire... and still same code. My VTEC works fine on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear but once I reach 4th gear my VTEC still engage but once I reach 90mph my CEL comes on. On 5th gear my VTEC doesn't engage at all, as soon as I hit the VTEC @ 4500rpm my CEL comes on. Im really frustrated already, anyone ever have this problem before? I dont know what else to do, and I dont think there's nothing wrong on my wiring because it works on 1st-3rd gear. It couldnt be the oil pump also because it works on 1st-3rd gear. I'll really appreciate anybodies help. Thnx for reading my post!

It couldnt be the oil pump also because it works on 1st-3rd gear.
I'm not saying it is definitely the oil pump, but just because it works on lower gears doesn't mean it works for good. Engine loads will affect oil pressure, and if the oil pump is marginal it might not work as efficient throughout it’s operating range. You might want to invest on a oil pressure gauge.

I'll try to take it to the shop and have the oil pressur check. and I'll go ahead and get a oil pressure gauge and see what's going on the higher speed.

also, if the vtec engagement is moved too far, it can set all sorts of codes, vtec ones the most often. how are you controlling it?
