Yesterday my '93 Civic decided not to start. No lights were left on. When I turn the key, no response. The interior dome light comes on, the ignition lights on the dash come, and I hear clicking noises, but the car doesn' crank over. Any suggestions?

 

starter?---have somebody hold the key in the -crank position - & try tapping on the starter with a hammer --if u can get to it --if it starts u need a starter

 

Try roll starting it if it's a straight drive. That is, if your on an incline.

 

clean the battery posts and cables. if they get corroded, it can prevent enough power to run the starter, but the other accessories might still work.

 

i have never had personal experiance with hondas not starting, if its an automatic the safety switch might be bad, or if a 5 speed the clutch safety switch coul dbe stuck or broken. check the battery if you have a voltmeter somewhere... thats all i can think of other than the starter bein bad.
