Custom burnt chip.
So you believe everything you hear/see? How did they "confirm" it to you? LOL. He told me every application is different so there you go. I have the stock chip that was in the ECU and my original ECU. Only surges with the phearable chip. Not with a stock chip in the socketed ECU and not with my original ECU so it is in fact the phearable chip. All those things have been done to this ECU. The guy couldn't even set the CEL shift light to the RPM I wanted. I said 7200 and it comes on at 7600+. I'm becoming dissapointed with this phearable chip.
No I don't believe everything I hear/see. They told me the maps are the same. Think about it, why would the fuel/timing be different on my D16Z6 with I/H/E than your D16Z6 with I/H/E?
Why are you revving to 7600? You're just asking for trouble.
There is no such thing as a "stock chip."

I was taking advice from someone who thinks surging is normal. LOL. I think I should have listened to the couple other guys with chitty tunes from phearable.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
And I only meant the surging is normal while the engine is still cold.
Surging is not normal....EVEN WHEN COLD. LOL. You have no idea what you're talking about. LOL. Stock chip....I have one. People socket them because the stock chip is soldered to the board. Wow...you really are dumb like the others on here say.
haha
good comeback
wtf?
And yes, surging at idle by 200RPM when the engine is cold for the first couple minutes is perfectly normal.
The area where the chip goes on the ECU is empty on virgin ECUs.
