Default Difference?

Hey, this might sound stupid, but im not to caught up on ignition systems. What is the difference between these 2 setups:

This one is $70

This one is $200

So what gives, can i use the first one without buying the box that jacks up the price $130. Can i get away with using the first one if im just boosting 8psi?

the top is just an external coil and a dizzy cap. pretty much a cheap upgrade. the bottom is an ignition box. that actually controls the ignition. your stock ignition should be fine, but an upgraded exteranl coil is good. i run a msd blaster 2 in my car, and a stock ignition system.

so the external coil and cap would be a good option with the stock ignition? Hmmm...sounds good, might have to purchase that
