ECU Chip
I'm pretty sure my ECU is the P06 and it's chipped with Uberdata. I'm having so many problems and I'm so tired of this. Last week my check engine light kept coming on until the point where my car died and wouldn't start. I paid a mechanic 325 bucks to find the problem and he had to do an oil change because it made gas go in my oil. He said one of the chips in the left bottom corner of the ecu fell out and a bunch of wires or something. So he fixed it and I just got it back yesterday and last night i hit a bump in the road and the engine light came on. The car was trying to die, just like last time before it stopped running.
so I'm guessing the chip just came loose or something, I don't even know what the chip looks like but I'm really pissed off now I don't have a car again, shouldn't this **** be sodered in or something, why is it falling out?

edit: Fixed it from falling out had to do some customizing haha
anyways my ecu is a p06, and now i'm starting to think the previous owner was a retard. The engine is a jdm d15b vtec, i could never really feel the vtec but is it because a p06 doesn't support vtec?
I was looking at some p28's, this would be able to directly replace my ECU right? It looks like the same 3 connectors on the back, so all i would need is to get it chipped and tuned right? I really want to feel my vtec for once!

the p06 can be converted into p28 because both ecu used the same motherboard, all you need is to addfew resitors to your for it to have vtec. There are kits online for $20 bucks that come with all the neccessary things you would need.
I would rather buy a P28 than convert mine. I will probably get it off ebay but the problem is I need one that is chipped with either uberdata or hondata because thats all my tuner does. All the chipped p28s are skunk2 or mugen or those cheap chips you can buy off ebay that set a high redline, a vtec engagement point, and different timing and stuff. Does anyone know where I could find a P28 chipped with uberdata preferably (it's free?) because most hondata chipped ecu's are expensive. My current ecu is chipped with uberdata, this is my P06. IS it possible I can just take my p06 chiip and put it in the p28, or would I not get vtec then?
