ecu location

Default ecu location

wheres my ecu located and do i need tools to acess it.... i have a 92 civic lx

If it is like my 95' EX it should be under the hood on the right side...there is like a black box and i think you just need a screwdriver to get the box off..at least that's what I think

arent most ecus located near the drivers or passenger side panel

interior passenger kick panel, couple screws or so and you'll have access to it (why are you asking)

i was just curious, i never knew where it was, where exactly is the kick panel, how far from the front speaker, i looked for it 2day for 2min couldnt find it, i want to know cause when i put z6 head on i have 2 change my ecu to a p28

Just move the carpet under the dash. It should be on the right side as EJ said.

lol thanks for the pic, i found a black box with like 4 screws, i think that might be it am i right?
