hey guys im new to the civic world. just picked up a 93 vx with a b16. can you guys please explain to me about ECU and those chips? liek p28 p30. or is there a site where i can read about it. also what is that thing called that you can adjust when your v-tech hits? lol i know i have a lot to learn... please help me out.

 

first off, it's VTEC, not v-tech, they make phones.


Second, the numbers p28 and p30 you're talking about are ID numbers for the ECU's themselves.


Third, chipping won't do much for you unless you're running some sort of forced induction or higher compression.

What all is done to your car?

 

just stock b16 with intake and 2 1/4 exhaust

 

yeah, getting a chip isn't really worth it with those mods.
