Direct swap, no wiring involved.

+1 My 97DX didnt have a tach untill recently. Only took about 5 minutes to swap clusters and everything worked without any complications. All the wiring plugged right in.

there is a orange plug on my old cluster that was behind the fuel gauge. i put the new cluster in and there is no spot for the orange plug. i left it unplugged so im goign to go for a test drive and fill the tank up to see if that is it. hopefully i dont have to pull out this cluster and install a big tach on the dash

The orange plug is only for ABS brakes, which I doubt you would have on a Civic DX.

Marine.... don't thread jack something that hasn't had a post for almost a month. Start a new thread. And to answer your question... check ebay, or your local Craigslist.
