harness pins, help!!!
Hey I have to put in my vtec subharness tomorrow and was looking at the harness and noticed how hard it will be to remove the pins I need to. My intructions say I need a honda tool for it. Is that right? Any tricks? Should I just go buy that tool?
i destroyed a plug.. and had to solder in a new plug, one wire at a time. but that was at the ecu. i have had no problems with plugs in engine compartment.. use something nice and pointy, like an ice pick or light tester. pop the internal tab up and pull out the wire.. if you have the square type plugs, first you must remove the white peice from the inside. just pull on it, it will come out!!!
paper clip and sand paper is all you need to fashion a temp tool for de-pinning. straighten out the paper clip, then sand one end down till its flat enough to get in the clip. jw ive never been lucky enough to pull my wires out....you lucky ....[:'(]
really? ive had no trouble on any in the engine harness!! its everything else im having dificulty with... damn color coded wires
