How Do I reset the ECU?
I've gotten some different answers on whether or not you should reset the ECU after an intake install. Well maybe it isn't necessary, but I figure it can't hurt, so can anyone tell me the easiest/fastest way to reset the ECU on my 98 EX?
ok,
yea take the negative terminal off the battery for at least 5 minutes, then reconnect it back, start the car up and let idle til normal operating range, dont tap the gas or any thing like that, then shut the car off, and then its ready to use whenever.

There is no real need to reset the ECU. It is constantly adjusting and learning. Depending on what you do or where the current ECU seetings are set, you can be making it longer time for the ECU to completely learn the new settings. However it is not a big deal. If it makes you feel better to reset it, do as suggested by others.
