how to reset ECU (2000 Civic)

Hi guys... mine is a 2000 model civic (Ex - D15Z4 Engine)... how can i reset the ECU?

1: unplug neg on battery for 2-3 mins
2: unplug the ecu 2-3 mins
3: pull emergency flasher fuse 2-3 mins
4: stop at autozone and have them erase your codes.

ok... but how do i know for sure if the ECU is reset.... are there any signs ?

I just disconnect the battery, then push on the horn, turn lights on for a few seconds then reconnect battery. ECU is reset. Any recurring problems will trigger the CEL.
