Default I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys I really need some help. my 91 civic 1.5 is being a really big pain. so heres the problem. about a month ago the car started idiling real rough, kinda sounded like a WRX when you started it up. i read the code from the ecu and got code 16 which is the fuel injector code. so last sunday i went out to the junkyar and bought 2 fuel injectors and a main relay. helped but still runs rough. the next thing im thinking is fuel pressure regulator.

any ideas thanks

What's the engine?

Why do you think the head/head gasket is blown?

You may want to start with a basic tune up (OEM plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor).

Any smoke from the exhaust? Are you losing oil and coolant? Is the engine overheating?

I have recently done the tune up. back in june i replaced the distributor, plugs, wires, alternator, valve cover gasket, adjusted the valves. there is blue smoke comming out of the exhaust and it uses about a quart of oil a week. engine does not overheat. and does not use any coolant.

Compression and leak down tests may be in order to determine whether the oil burning in cylinder 2 is caused by a bad valve seal, piston ring, or head gasket. I guess bad cylinder 2 may be the root cause of the rough running engine.

Compression test - see forum DIY section (by Forty04).

Leak down test - http://www.geocities.com/dsmgrrrl/FAQs/leakdown.htm
