P07-A00 ECU vs P28-A01
Just wondering what the differences would be with running a P07-A00 ECU in my 93 civic ex instead of the correct ECU (P28-A01).
I have another thread in this same forum about how my ECU got stolen and have a question there about getting a replacement. For the time being, I'm using a P07-A00 just to have the car running. Is this bad? I'm getting much worse gas milage - I'm pretty sure it's due to the fact that the P07 is a richer-running ECU. The car also has a noticable loss in power; again, I'm pretty sure because the fuel maps are off.
Please let me know what you think on this. Thanks!
