Default Possible to get AUTO 98 civic ex tuned?

Alright so I'm pretty sure my car's ecu is P2P. I read on here that a P2P ECU cannot be chipped. To solve this problem, I found that it may be possible to convert to a obd1 ecu as opposed to the obd2 ecu I have now. I could not find an obd1 ecu that I could use for an automatic car on Hondata's site. Does this mean that a dyno tuning shop will not be able to tune my car? Is there any other way to solve the problem I have? Please help.

Here is the site for the dyno tuner I was looking at: http://www.locashracing.com/

If my post doesnt make sense, tell me and I will try to elaborate more. I appreciate any help!

Well you just need a P28 from an automatic car and it should work. As far as tuning it...should be no real difference.

Not to be rude but why tune an automatic? If you're serious about performance go for a manual transmission... you'll enjoy your tuning alot more then.

thank you for all the replies! It seems like I need to get a conversion harness and on hondata's site it does not show any ecus that can be used with an automatic they all say manual...here is the link:
http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html

Would this one work for my car?

and what does the code A52 mean. I see there's an A51 too.
