push start button

just wanted to know if it is possibleto install a fully functioning start push button on my 98 honda civic LX??? if so, is it a hard task to manage????

anythings possible.. lol

ive seen it where you had to turn the key to the ON position and use the button to start. i would imagine that it wires into the igntion harness

yeah, it's possible, but like MY99SI said, you'll have to have the key in the ignition on the "on" position... or at least you do for all the kits I've seen.

Seems like a pain to turn the key to 'on' then push a button. You're better off to keep turning that key and save some $$.

My 93 dx with a d16y8 has a push button starter, works well

simple......... cut the starter wire off the ignition and wire it to the switch and then a power wire from the ignition to the switch...


very simple realy..... put like they said.... a push button over just turning the key alittle further just sounds kinda stupid!
