quick batt question

Default quick batt question

So im finally going to get my alternator fixed tom the only problem is the garage is about 2.6 miles. do you guys think the batt will last that long to get there? if so can i just charge it afterwards to get it back to its full charge

Do a trickle charge on the battery before you drive over there, and you'll be fine. It might even have enough juice to start the car up again. It'll make it no problem as long as you're not running the heater/cd player/ subs/headlights... you get the picture.

ahh.. you might not have a charger aye? lol good luck, it's hard to say, depends on how long it's been sitting and how long you've been driving it with the alt. out.

well it made it and only took an hour to change alternators and the price was good only 80 bucks compared to 150-200 everyone else wanted. so i finally got my civic back.. thanks all for the fast responses
