Default quick tuning question

Have 99 ex with D16y8. I am putting on an ported and polished head, cam and springs, and timing belt/water pump this weekend. Next week im looking to get tuned up at a local speed shop. Heres my question. I had a problem with my Skunk 2 68mm TB and came to find out it might be a bad batch from the factory. In the meantime, im running the stocker.

My question is, can I tune with the stock TB and throw on a better one in a week or 2? I dont want to degrade my tune because of a stock throttle body, and I dont want to screw up my tune by adding the throttle body later. Im uncertain how that will affect the new tune I guess is what im saying

Thanks alot guys

HOld off on the tune until you have everything in place.

Why are you getting tuned with so little mods anyway?

A stage 2 cam with springs and an agressively ported head are good enough to warrant a tune IMO. Thanks for the response.

Make sure you get before and after dyno slips. I'd be interested to see just how much it changes things on an N/A car.
