I have use seafoam in many defferent motors with no harm done.

i have used it in rotary application. i would let a vacuum line suck it up tell the motor just about dies. i'm not sure if that would work for a honda though.
Talk about a smoke show. the fire department showed up.....weres the fire

I had a Corolla that wouldn't pass emissions. I used Seafoam in the tank and vacuum, then drove it hard for about 75 miles. I went from being just below passing to well into the passing zone. The tester actually is the one who recommended trying and he was surprised at the improvement. I was skeptical because most car additives are snake oil but in this case it appears to have done the job. I made no other modifications other than the Seafoam, might be just some blind luck but if anyone is off a little on passing emissions with an old car, it is worth a shot.

this topic just made me want to seafoam my car. Ive used seafoam before, last time was on my eclipse with 112xxx miles, i was worried about using it on my civic since it has 240xxx miles haha.

But now im not nearly as worried. pretty much I just need to change my oil not too long after and i should be all good to go!

I take my time when sucking it thru the vacuum hose. It takes a long time for me to suck up all the fluid (1/3 of a can). should i be so paranoid...or can I just let it suck up freely? i dont want it to hydrolock!

Yes just let it do all the sucking...

I think you will be fine, just make sure you keep the RPM's up, and be ready for a lot of smoke

where is the vacuum hose? and do i need to change oil after running it throu vacuum hose?
When i use this i just poor the whole can in a full tank of gas. I want to suck it thro the vacuum hose so i can see how much smoke will come out of my hx which has 233k miles.

Where do you get seafoam? Just from autozone or somewhere like that?

im just wondering....can Seafoam Deep Creep be used in the same manner as the liquid? i know you can spray it into the intake to clean....but im wondering if you could spray it into the vacuum hose to achieve the same effect. i figure the spray would be easier to apply and spread to "all cylinders evenly"
