Default tach help

does anybody know where i run my green wire 2 a little help anyone

on the 6th gens, in the engine bay near the drive side fender, there is a little blue wire with a cap on it. Thats a tach signal wire. Also behind the OEM cluster on the eng temp/tach side, there is a blue wire with a silver line down that. That also will work.

most you can pick up the blue wire off the distrubitor to make it work

on my 94civic the tach wire is also located in the engine bay, drivers side next to the engine harness plugs near the firewall, its a single wire that runs to a small plug and then just stops. thats what i tap into, no one likes extra wires ran all over the engine bay.... just looks tacky

its not too bad if you cover the wire with that black tubing. I found really small black tubing, ran it through my firewall and thats all you really see of it, the rest is behind the dash. It probably would be cleaner to tap into the wiring harness, but either way it's pretty clean IMO if done right.
