Default Tach Help

A couple weeks ago i was changing my guages and i had to take the tach needle off. ever since i took it off and put it back on its about 2,000 rpms off. (Lower)when it 5,000 it should be at 7,000. Is there a way to reset the tach or did i mess up the whole system and have to buy a whole new cluster

I think you already figured out the problem. Try to take it off and adjust it up 2000, not like you can mess it up much more.

i have tried taking it off and adjusting it, unless its pushed in all the way it wont move, when it is pushed in all the way i can move it but when i start the car it just goes back down to zero. I have tried adjusting it while driving too but doesnt seem to work. Any other suggestions ... anyone?
