Turn off vtec
doesn't the vtec kick in at 5200? and if you're running at 3k rpm then you shouldn't have a worry. correct me if i'm wrong. but if you're really that concerned then yea a vtec controller would be the solution.
why do you want to stop the vtec? all it does is change the valve profile to breath more efficiently at different rpms. so why stop it? do you think its taking more gas to run when vtec is engaged?
