Default Turn signals turn off by itself...

I have a 2005 Civic EX coupe and the signal keeps turning itself off with out being activated to do so. If I'm waiting at a red light with my signal on, it will shut off within 10 seconds on it's own. Does anybody know what I should do to fix or begin the process of troubleshooting this problem? Thanks in advance.

Does the lever move itself back to the off position, or does it just quit blinking? If the latter, probably the blinker relay.

Yeah, the blinker just automatically shuts off without the lever coming back to the neutral position. Do you have any idea what they would have to do? Simply replace that part, or do you think it's more complicated than that?

Try the hazard blinkers. I think they use the same blinker relay. If they also blink for a while then quit, replace the blinker relay, plugged into the fuse box.
