Default what required to get a 2000 cx with no tach to have one?

hey, i have a 2000 cx hatch 5 spd and it has no tach and its startin to **** me off now, im lookin at a 2000 si gauge cluster, but what do i have to do to make it work?

this has been covered thousands of times (and that's not an exaggeration), it's all plug and play, just use the search feature first for any questions, if you can't find it, then ask

i kno that but my car at the moment has no tach so is it still plug and play? since the si cluster tdoes have a tach

yes they are all pre wired for a tach, you cluster actually has the tach wire/plu plugged into the back of it but no tach on the front.

i didn't think the LX had a tach either

the swap is easy, should take you 30-45 minutes if you swap the speedometer/odometer to retain your accurate mileage.

also, I'd look into the EX cluster, as it'll be cheaper in the long run

some of the lx's do, it was available as a option
