Do you have your engine built so that it actually can spin around 10K?

You do not want to run your stock motor up to 9000, I don't care what kind od chip you have. I have that chip sitting in my house right now and it did work pretty well. What ECU do you have?

Exactly like he said...unless you have a built motor already, don't do it!

Yeah, ECU upgrades are the bomb, but the more you have done to your motor the more you will get out of the upgrade. What you want is something customized to your set-up. A generic chip will more than likely just advance the timing and send more fuel, which will give you some gains but not as much as a custom burned program for your car. Hondata doesn't exactly grow on trees though.

Do you even have a p28? What ECU come in the 6th gens?

Anyway, for that price you can send your ECU to Skunk2 or JUN or whomever and have them chip it for you in just a couple of days according to your personal set-up. Look into it. What do you have done to your car already?
