87 swap with an 88

hey i have an 87 honda civic with a d15a2 engine and i was wondering if a 88 handa civic engine D16A1 DOHC motor would it fit? I heard an 88 civic engin sould drop in

im not sure but i got an 88 and ive seen an 87 moter and they look very different
