Default What way?

hello my name is paul & i live in livermore ca. I have a 88 civic dx1500 hb with 196k that i would like to do a swap, but have know idea what way 2 go? I don't need vtec, i just would like DOHC. Something with a little bit of power but i'm not out 2 race. People keep talking about "ed,ef or eg" i don't even know what that means? I think my car has a d15b1 or 2 1.5L SOHC Dual point injection, cat. thats what i'm getting from (civic4g.com). I think i need a 91 integra motor or a zc motor. I'm not working right now so i have the time to do it my self but no the money to go all out. Could someone point me in the right direction, thanks.
