Default B16a2 Engine swop.

Im thinkin of swoping my d16z6 for a b16a2.. what parts would have to change?

ive been told the engine drops straight in, and all the engine wires connect up, get myslef an ecu harnes for the b16a2 obd1 - obd2 , b16 axels and center shaft. and im good to go.. is there anything else that i need.
and is the info i was given correct?
Do i need to change the gearbox?

ahh i don't know who told you that but they are wrong... you may want to research some more, cause you will need new motor mounts welded in place, new shifter linkage, axles, ecu, harness. among other misc parts. .. it isn't just a drop in swap

Well the Si civic here has the D16Z6 in it, and our 92-95's didn't come with a B series motor. but when we do that swap it requires new mounts. for it. now since you are in the UK, that is info i did not have previously, so i would see if there is any local forums for you to double check it, cause i may be wrong for the UKDM vehicles.

ok i just saw your other thread.. you don't really need 2 threads. but i will answer the one thing that i am 100% positive, if you swap the D16 for the B16 yes you do need a new gearbox. as the Dseries one will not fit the Bseries one.
