Default questions on doing an engine swap on my 92 honda cx?

hello i need a lil help im going to swap the engine in my civic cx to b18c1 engine with the lsd transmission. i wanted to know if anybody knows whats a good suspension for the swap and and anything else i might have to swap on it. My cx is pretty much stock. any input would help

Suspension can stay stock. The motor isn't that much heavier or anything.

Research what you need for the swap. This is an extremely common question.

Default help putting in new engine

hello i have a 92 civic hatch cx and im putting in a b18c type r engine in it. i got it from this website that gives me just about everything for it but the wiring harness for it.
COMPLETE PACKAGE JDM ENGINE B18C-R LSD 96-97
could anybody help me out on were i can find a wiring harness for it and anything else i might need to make this a smoother swap.

Re-use your stock engine harness. Just cut and extend the wires as needed.

Default obd QUESTION

i need help with the obd for my engine swap. my car is obd1 and the engine is obd2. what would be the easiest way for the swap. if i got an obd1a to obd2 conversion harness or if i got a p28 chipped or i think its a p27 chipped. just trying to find the easiest way to swap the engine.

Ok, OBD1 vehicle with an OBD2 motor No problem.

Keep you current harness, cut extend any wires which need to be lengthened/shortened, buy P28, or OBD1 P72, and be done.

I would definitely research more about any wiring differences that you will come across. I have not done the swap personally, but I am sure there are a few little things. Nothing to warranty you having to buy an entire harness or anything like that.
