Timeing belt
Hello, i just bought a 94 civic cx hatch with 165 thousand miles on it,
the problem with it was that the timeing belt went and i need to
know if the motor is a Interference or none Interference motor.
Any help would be great.

i'm betting that it IS an interference engine and if the timing belt snapped, you probably just bought a gigantic headache.
the valves probably crashed down into the piston heads causing an expensive mess.
pull the plugs, wires and unbolt the cam cover and check for visual damage if you can. you'll probably need to buy a new gasket to seal the cam cover back (they're pretty cheap) but not if the engine is screwed.
cross your fingers...

the good thing is that EGs are highly sought after in tuner circles.
if it comes down to it, you could always part your car out and recoup your money, but if I were you, i'd drop a BIG motor in it.
