96 hb civic swap
I just got a 96 hb civic. I'm not sure if its a dx or cx or whatever but i know its all show and no go. Can I easily swap a b18c OBD1 94-96 gsr motor? What's the best full swap for around $3000 Or do I have to go with a OBD2 swap?

RE: 96 hb civic swap
You will need to go with a 96 or newer engine, in order to pass emissions. I believe a 96 is OBD2, so you will have to go with an OBD2 swap. For the price, you can't go wrong with a B18C1. As you all know, I swear by the K20A2, but those are just a tad pricey.
*Correct me if I'm wrong, guys. You know I deal mostly in newer Civics.*

HOLY S**TBALLS! It's Se7en... Did the other guys kick you out already?
Nah, you can do an OBD-I in it... but yes, an OBD-II would make emissions testing a lot easier (if you do that kind of thing...) And yes, a C1 is just about the best thing you could do for your car... And yes, a swap is under $3,000.
