or get a b18 and a stock gsr head and boost it. gsr's have good cams to run with a boosted engine, and an ls tranny has the longer gear ratios needed for a turbo engine, and they are cheaper and easier to find than a gsr or type r tranny.
b16 head would be better. the quench pads in the gsr head bump compression pretty high for boost.

externally, the only difference is the intake manifold, other than that, install is the same.

i thought gsr heads had less compression?

i thought compression was based on the pistons? unless u milled the head?

if the dish in the head has less volume, compression will be higher, its the same concept as milling the head, which takes volume out of the combustion chamber dish.

no, the gsr head bumps compression about .3 over the b16/c5 head.

personally I'm getting a B16b for my car, next summer of course , i think the B18c5 as a 10 or so horsepower lead on the engine I want, but the rarity alone really has me wanting a B16b, that and the fact that it comes out of the civic type-R :P
