I recently swapped in a new engine due to oil burning consumption.
Now that I have the same engine in there (d17a2) when I pass 75km/h it will not allow me to pass 4000rpm in any gear no matter if I go below 75km/h or if I am above it. I need to restart the car before it will allow me to go pass this rpm. The engine light is on I got the codes read and it the codes it was throwing were dealing with the fuel filter? Help please. Thanks!

 

unhooking the - on the battery for a few mins resets the ecu. can you post the code.
also i suggest rechecking all your wire harness plugs and make sure they ALL are hooked up right.
