Default not shifting till 4000 rpm

Hi
We have a 2001 honda civic and when we are driving it revs up real high and then waits to shift till 4000 rpms it just revs up
check engine light is on and i took it in it says throttle sensor bad. Does anyone know about this.

Check you transmission fluid level.

What is the code that the check engine light is throwing?

Yes it is auto

I can help if i have a DTC, thats the code the check engine light has stored, you need a scan tool so goto AUtozone or a similar store that does it for free.
