Default 2002 civic spark plug is getting wet with burned oil

I have another 2002 civic that has check engine line on. When I connected the scanner it says spark plug number 2 miss fire. When I removed the spark plug number 2 it was complete cover with burn oil. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? I am guessing is either the valve seal or the ring. Can anyone advice me on what it might be. Thanks for your replies.

Default Oil on #2 plug

Sounds like it could be getting past the valve guide seal, or getting it from somewhere else in the motor, hopefully not a worn-out or broken piston ring. Might do a quick compression test, is the #2 cylinder low? Does it smoke when you take off from a stop, or smoke all the time? Burning/losing any oil? Also, have you ever removed the valve cover before? You must replace the spark plug tube seals or it will leak on the outside (ceramic) of the plug and "may" cause a misfire. Do you ever feel a miss or hesitation on acceleration? How is the condition of your plug wires?
