275 hp Civic? A lil help
I am in the process of building a late 90's Civic 2dr with a B16a motor swap and a turbo kit. My question is how the heck can I get the thing to hook up? I know it might sound crazy but I think my biggest issue is gonna be traction.

get a LSD for your tranny. (Limited slip differential) Qualiffe makes some damn good ones.

BTW I saw your video and that looks a lot like what I'm after.

Thanks. My car is far from 275WHP. Spring will bring on a new tranny and a dyno tune. As far as other stuff for traction............get some good motor mounts, new suspension, sticky tires.

See that's what I was talking about! Traction bars! You can tell I'm new to the Import hotrod theories. I didn't even know about traction bars for front wheel drives. I have always been a VW and V8 muscle car kind of guy.
I appreciate the tip. $300 or there abouts to stop wheel hop is going to be a big part of the equasion. BTW this is a street car.

Theres plenty of factors that can affect traction. You have to see the weak areas of your car and fix them first. Good mounts or mount bushings are a good upgrade. Look to see if they are torn or in bad condition.
Suspension, make sure they are in good working condition and not blown.
Then after you got the basic parts fixed and good to go. Look into traction bars, slicks, stiffer rear suspension, etc.
You also should evalute your Driving style. If on street tires, you dont need to launch too high RPM or too high of boost. In our 700hp race cars, we start of boost at about 7-14 psi depending on the track conditions. Boost pressure is then adjusted on each gear. Once at 3rd and 4th gear, we push it to 35psi full boost, in which it can handle hooking up more at that point. Boosting high at 1st gear is not necessary and just increases chances of breaking drivetrain.
