yea that's what ricers do for under-hood bling. except they don't buy the AEM, they get the no-name ebay kind.

I just hate how I post what was wrong and people have to be rude about it. Most people would totally look over that. Expecially when the directions say D15B7.

It's a Cx, but I transfered an engine from a 95 LX into it. I'm pretty sure it's a B7.

yea LX engine is the b7. I'd go check your motor anyway just incase. Maybe the owner of the LX swapped in a different motor and you ended up with a different motor than stock.

I know the block says D15B but no seven, but it's not a vtec so my only guess is a 7.

there's you problem.
D15B is a JDM motor equivalent to the D16Z6. You'll need a Z6 cam gear. You should definitely have vtec if you have a D15B. Look for this to verify VTEC (it's not actually green like that):

yea we are just extremely suprised and glad to hear that your engine is fine even after using the wrong cam.

I can tell you it's not a vtec. I have a B7 cam in it, and there are no vtec rocker parts in the rockers.
