i wonder why it doesn't have vtec, it's a d15b so it should, but i believe you and all that the parts aren't there.

I've heard of D15B's without Vtec before though.

Haha, well the company I bought from told me to get ahold of AEM and get the part number and they'd help me out so I guess it's all good.

Just curious do you know the part number of the cam gear you ordered?
I ordered the AEM 23-600C Adjustable Cam gear, it says 88-95 Honda Civic SOHC cars. So I'm hoping it will fit my JDM D15B Vtec?

if you're calling me out for that, i'd like you to know that i said that whenever he said he had a D15B7, which would cause a problem if he had a Z6 cam gear on a B7
he later corrected himself and said he had a D15B
next time read the whole thing before you make sarcastic comments

The part number on the one that I got was 23-800 if I remember right.

I'm so confused on my engine, cause I know when I replaced the head I got a head for a D15B7 engine, and not a D15B. But I checked the D15B engine that I have and it has 38 teeth too. The code one the box for the cam gear says it's for the D15/D16. I wonder if they totally screwed it up when they labeled it.

Edit: Btw I called AEM and the told me to try a 23-803.

Actually I wasn't being sarcastic at all, I did read the whole thing. According to AEM's product specs the z6 and b7 have the same cam gear. All SOHC should be 38 teeth right?

I think you need the 23-600. It has 38 teeth and says its fits 88-95 Civics with SOHC. Mine is expected to arrive Friday, Ill let you know if it works.
