I toy with the idea of buying a B16B and making it a naturally aspirrated beast all the time. Having an N/A car thats quick is a little more monetarily consuming for a high school kid though.

dont waste the money on a b16b, unless youre trying to win JDM trophies at carshows. do the same with an ITR motor. same thing, but bigger. and damn near the same price.

Sacs, I totally agree with you about that, and thats the reason why I want a B16B, for a Type-R replica.

B18C is a B16B with a longer stroke for more displacement. if you stroked it further and bored it, youd be runnin FAST in the QM. the heads of type-r cars are ported and polished from the factory. they might actually be the same head...but im not sure. compression might be different.

Carillos are some of the best you can buy. i would say THE best, but they are cheaper than those Ti ones because they arent made out of titanium. its kinda hard to find them, but they go for around 600-1200 for a set of 4. still expensive, but not 375 each. and Ti rods are tricky too, because the nature of titanium is for it to kind of stick to other metals, instead of sliding smoothly. its even more of a problem with Ti valves than with the rods.

well keep in mind, steel is many different kinds of metals. the mixture determines the strength and hardness of the steel

im guessing prolly 4340 billet steel. thats what all the racing bottom ends are made out of. theyre H beams too if i saw correctly.
