Alright .. im talking through email getting some info/pricing on a D. build.. He was a link off of Jeff Evans site so his shop is only a few hours from me.. Hes giving me figures for building me a D 300whp boosted.. but I told him about wanting to build up in stages due to cost etc.. Havent heard back yet on his response but wondering how running a lower compression engine without boost would affect performance of my engine? Would this give me less hp running lower compression until a turbo is added? or would i have problems with idle etc..??

 

my old b16 comp was at 8.2:1 and was still faster than my stock d16a6. gas milage sucked and tq sucked but i never had any ISSUES with the low compression at all.

 

it will still be a gain over stock.
