Default B18 ls swap into 00 civic

I am swapping a b18 Ls into a civic 00. I have got the motor mounted and all it just needs to be wired, i am working the day my freinds are working on it and its kinda stressing me out thinkin when they finish and ride it 45 minutes into town to pick me up after work. I am afraid they are goin to ride it hard. and it will just break down again, its a jdm motor, is riding it hard after its been seting for about a month with no oil or tranny oil, bad, or do i not need to worry about it.???

is it just and LS or are you putting a GSR head on it? if its been sitting for a month i would ask them to go easy on it for the first 100 miles or so...just to make sure you dont have any leaks and everything is hooked up correctly. my motor was sitting for about a month 1/2 before i did the swap then i drove it easy for about 2 hours until a 'teg tried to pass me at our local airport...lol that was my first kill after the swap

just make sure it has fresh oil in it and they let it idle for a few minutes before they drive it to let oil get all through it. and be sure they check the tranny oil.

yeah, its more a pain in the ***, than actually "hard", but youll figure it out. youll need a funnel with a flexible spout.

yeah its just an akward place to put a funnel and spout through but its not hard. Jack the passenger side of the car up then pour it in, that will make it easier.
