I own an 01 ex coupe with the D17A2 motor. I was wondering whether my car has a timing belt or a timing chain.

pretty sure it's a belt
i think k-series are the only ones with chains

I'm about 95% sure it's a belt.

(And I think the H22 might use a chain, too... not 100% sure on that though.)
