what is the best block to get 200 hp out of a b16a2 head. I wasnt sure if its the b18c1, b18c5 or b18b, i remember someone saying that you can get 200 hp out of a b block with a b16a2 head. i will be doing forced induction as well. thanks for the help

 

b18c5 comes stock with 200hp.

 

any block is capable of 200 hp. the c5 has 195hp stock and is a very good engine, but costs a ton. a gsr would be the way to go 170 stock and more torque than a b16, still expensive. a turbo d could get you at least 200 hp on a stock bottom with a good tune.

 

there is a b series combo with the b16a2 head that gives a good hp with a different block

any b16 head with a b18 or b20 block can make 200 hp is you build it right

I know of a Block specifically for hondas that put out 270 hp and for 7k

 

im lookin to swap out my b16a2 block and put a better one in for the b16a2 head, this is why im asking

 

I could build one for way less than that. is that the Dart block you are referring to?

 

i would go with the CRVtec setup then throw in a set of ARP rod bolts and u can boost it and make more than 200 hp all day
