I just purchased a D16Z6 from Roxbury Auto in N.J. I paid 549$ for the motor with a 30-day warranty with 71K on it. I NEED TO KNOW... will my D16Y8 Intake manifold, Alternator, Distributor, ECU, Tranny, etc. work with the D16Z6? I NEED TO KNOW ASAP.

 

yes, no, yes, yes, yes, yes.... the no is for the dist. i dont think it will bolt to the head... everything else, no problem...

What on the car won't run right and how do i fix it

 

you need the proper ecu, or a stand alone system. fuel mapping, engine timming, all kinds of things controled by ecu, made specifically for each engine

 

I heard that the distributor will fit but only two holes will line up.
