Would a silicone sealer work? as a temp? because i have a job interview tomarrow and i dont want it to leak on me

If you put the grommet there it should stay. I put the grommet on and put duck tape over it to hold it on. It will be fine like that for a while, and should only leak a tiny unnoticeable bit or not at all. I don't think silicone will withstand the heat.

Mine didn't leak at all, still hasn't. If I were you I would replace the gasket just to be safe, you can always use that liquid gasket I mentioned temporarily. It's not a permanent sealer.

Problem fixed... i went to honda got a new bolt (6$!!!! for a BOLT)

Took the valve cover off

Grabbed a 12mm box wrench with an extention

put it at the base of the bolt (near the head)

and it came out, it took some force, but it came out...

dip the new one in oil, and tighten that beast up...

vavle on and im ready to roll,
